Request a collaborative pianist

Performers can request a collaborative pianist for the current term — no account needed. The coordinator reviews each request and pairs you with a pianist. Requests require a JMU or Dukes email (@jmu.edu or @dukes.jmu.edu).

Now accepting requests for Fall 2026.

This form will be used to set you up with a pianist. Please make sure to fill this out as completely and accurately as possible. It is understood that if some things are not yet scheduled, necessary adjustments will be made. Requests are considered according to availability and program needs. If you have made arrangements with a pianist who is NOT a graduate assistant or part of the Collaborative class, please do not submit this form.

Make sure you are available during pianists' accompanying class time (MUAP 301/357) on Mondays and Wednesdays 12:40–1:30 PM. This is a mandatory condition if you want to have an accompanist. You will only need to play at one class meeting this semester.

Must be a JMU or Dukes email — @jmu.edu or @dukes.jmu.edu.
